The Tigers, who are nationally ranked for the first time since 2005, are 5-4 on this season and are 4-0 against common opponents with the Broncos (defeating Cal State East Bay, Cal State Monterey Bay, Occidental, and California Baptist). Santa Clara head coach Keith Wilbur has had a chance to see Pacific play this season, as the Tigers attended both the Nor-Cal Invite and the Roadrunner Invite.
