Volleyball Falls in Three at No. 14 Pepperdine

 Matching up with the only undefeated league team, Santa Clara's volleyball team fell in straights sets at No. 14 Pepperdine on Thursday night. Set scores were 25-15, 25-21 and 25-14.  

Santa Clara is now 9-13 and 4-7 in the WCC and Pepperdine is 18-5 and 12-0 in the WCC.

Santa Clara will continue its trip to Los Angeles on Sat., Nov. 5 when it travels to LMU.

Santa Clara hit .142 with 27 kills (12 e, 106 att.).  They collected 26 assists, 32 digs, two aces, four service aces and four team blocks.  Pepperdine hit .422 with 52 kills (11 e, 102 att.). They collected 51 assists, 55 digs, 9.5 team blocks, five service aces and eight service errors.

Katherine Douglas had a team-high eight kills, hitting .185.  Dana Knudsen had seven kills.  Alyssa Anderson had 24 assists.  Taylor Milton and Bridget O'Hara both collected 10 digs each.

Kim Hill hit .643 with 18 kills.  Lilla Fredrick collected 11.  Kellie Woolever had 42 assists and nine digs.  Steve Robinson had 15 digs.
