Santa Clara, Calif.—The No. 71 Santa Clara women's tennis team will travel across town to take on San Jose State, Fri., Jan. 27th at 2:00 p.m. The following day, the Broncos welcome the Oregon Ducks to the Degheri Tennis Center at 11:00 a.m. The women are working to bounce back from their 6-1 loss to No. 7 California on Wednesday and gain some momentum back over the weekend.

In last season's match, the Broncos beat cross-town rival San Jose State 6-1, only dropping one singles match and one doubles match. "San Jose State is obviously a rivalry match, and they are always tough," said Bronco head coach Ben Cabell. "We are really excited to play against such a solid team."

The Spartans are currently 1-0 this season and are coming off of a 6-1 win against Cal State Bakersfield.

On Sat., Jan. 28, the Broncos host the University of Oregon (1-0), who are fresh off a 6-1 victory against Portland. The Ducks are on a three-match road trip and make the Mission Campus their second stop.
