Head coach Ben Cabell, on three matches: "We competed hard in all three matches so I am proud of the effort. We had some good individual performances, especially by Casey Knutson, who won twice and pushed a very good player in the third match."
Cabell, on Washington State match: "We competed well with a team that just beat one of the top 25 teams in the country. Casey and Erika again had a great doubles win and Casey pulled off a good singles win. She has really been stepping up this season."
Cabell, on Texas-Arlington match: "We had our chances to beat UTA, but we needed just a bit more. Myra suffered an injury in her match and she was playing very well against a good player. Overall, we did not have enough to get a win."
Cabell, Southern Methodist match: "SMU is very good team and they really took it to us from the start. The conditions were tough because it was in the 30s and very windy. They played at a very high level and we could not match them."
