USA Calls Up Osborne For Italy Series

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Former Santa Clara Bronco great Leslie Osborne was one of four players added to the U.S. Women's National Team preliminary roster for the home-and-home series with Italy that decides who will get a the final bid into the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany.

This is Osborne's first call-up since July 2009. She has 61 caps and was a member of the USA's 2007 Women's World Cup Team but has been nagged by injuries, most recently a broken collarbone suffered in August during the Women's Professional Soccer season.

The U.S. women won the first of two games in Padova, Italy on Nov. 20, 1-0, on a stoppage-time goal in the 94th minute.  Osborne was not included in the 18-woman roster for that game.

The second game will take place on Nov. 27 at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill. at 1 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on
