SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball tipsoff a four-game road trip Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at San Diego State.
On Sunday, the Broncos took down Menlo 104-61 in one of the best offensive performances in team history.
Santa Clara is 2-1 all-time against San Diego State with the first meeting coming during the 1981-82 season. The last meeting was a Bronco win in San Diego 70-68 on Jan., 2004.

Santa Clara (3-5) is averaging 60.4 points per game while shooting 39.2-percent from the field. The Broncos are forcing 16.9 turnovers per game and collecting 9.5 steals per game, tops in the WCC.
Ashlyn Herlihy leads the team in scoring with 11.5 ppg after a career-high 25 vs. Menlo. She also leads the way in field goal percentage (52.5), 3-point percentage (42.9), and 3-pointers made (12) while pulling down 6.0 rebounds per game.
Kyla Martin is tied for second in the league with 5.3 assists per game and is second on the team in scoring with 10.1 ppg. Morgan McGwire's 7.6 rpg is tops on the team and she also leads in steals (2.5 pg) and blocks (1.1 pg) while scoring 10.0 ppg.
San Diego State (6-3) has won three of its last four games, including wins over Arizona and San Diego. The Aztecs average 69.8 ppg on 40.4-percent shooting from the field and 38.7-percet from beyond the arc.
McKynzie Fort leads the way with 17.3 ppg on 49.0-percent from the field She is tied for the team lead with 5.1 rpg and is second with 3.5 apg. Lexy Thorderson is scoring 10.6 ppg on a team-high 28 made 3-pointers and is adding 3.1 rpg. Geena Gomez has an Aztec-best 5.0 apg while scoing 8.6 ppg and Naje Murray is scoring 10.1 ppg.
