SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball First Team All-WCC senior guard Nici Gilday has been named one of the top-10 most efficient shooters in DI women's basketball by Bennett Rank. "We were looking at Nici's stats this morning saying how efficient she was considering she was far and away our best scorer," said Santa Clara head coach JR Payne. "She drew double teams, triple teams, and the best athlete that was two or three inches taller than her. The fact that she was able to shoot at such a high percentage with so much adversity makes something like this even more remarkable. We're extremely proud of her and it was a testament to the amount of work she put in to be a great player."
