SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's water polo will play in four tournaments, including four games during the second annual Julian Fraser Memorial, in 2018.
After participating in home exhibition contests against Stanford, Bay Area Masters, and West Valley College on Sept. 1, the Broncos will play four games in the season-opening Princeton Invitational (Sept. 7-9).
The team will play its home opener on Sept. 19 against Cal and then begin Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) action on Sept. 29 at home against UC Davis.
Following competition at Stanford's Mountain Pacific Invitational (Oct. 12-14), the Broncos will host the Julian Fraser Memorial (Oct. 19-21). LMU, Fresno Pacific, Cal Baptist, Air Force, San Jose State, Brown, Bucknell, Harvard, St. Francis and Wagner will participate in the event.
Santa Clara will close the regular season with two conference home games, against UC San Diego (Nov. 1) and LMU (Nov. 3).
The WWPA Championship will be held Nov. 16-18 in Fresno, California.
