SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara men's water polo team is set to play host to the annual Rodeo Tournament, which begins Friday.
The four-day tournament features 15 teams from both sides of the country playing 31 games at Santa Clara and San Jose State.
There will be 19 contests at Santa Clara and a combined 12 at San Jose State Saturday and Sunday.
Action starts at 3 p.m. Friday when LMU faces off with Harvard at Sullivan Aquatic Center.
The Spartans will hold games at West Valley College in nearby Saratoga. The first game at that site is set for 9 a.m. Saturday when San Jose State meets Navy.
Eight schools will make the trip from the East Coast and six Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) teams are in the field, including Santa Clara, though none will play each other.

Tickets: Tickets for the Friday and Monday games at Sullivan Aquatic Center are $5 each. Entry on Saturday and Sunday is $10 for an all-day pass, which will allow patrons exit and entry for all games (not including games at West Valley College). Tickets for Santa Clara's Friday and Monday games may be purchased online or at the gate (cash only). The Saturday and Sunday all-day passes are available online or at the gate (cash only). There are no single-game tickets available on Saturday and Sunday. Sullivan Aquatic Center opens one hour prior to the first game each day. Parking: For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot, located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to the start. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located on Palm Drive.
