Meet the Future of Bronco Men’s Soccer – Emil Christensen
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer announced the third member of its incoming recruiting class for the 2018-19 season, Emil Christensen.  The center back hails from Nr. Snede, Denmark.

The Learnmark Horsens High School graduate from Denmark is a six-foot-two center back already enrolled at Santa Clara.

"Emil fits a great need for us and will be a very valuable asset as we are losing a Danish back in Valdemar Andersen.  I think in many senses Emil is going to have a strong presence in that backline.  He loves the physical play and be aggressive in tackling the ball so there's some skills that will translate well to the college game here in the United States," said Broncos head coach Cameron Rast.  "We are very excited to have him and looking forward to see what he's capable of."

Our next future Bronco, Presten Manthey, will be announced the week of March 5.
