JUNIOR (2011):
All-WCC First Team player for second straight season and named to the 2011 NCAA Men's Division I NSCAA All Far-West Region Second Team ... led the WCC in shots (85), points (19) and tied for the league-lead in goals (6) and assists (7) ... he played and started in all 20 games and was undoubtedly one of the most dangerous offensive players on the West Coast ... named the WCC 'Player of the Month' for September after leading the Broncos to a 6-1-3 start ... he was terrific in September, earning back-to-back WCC 'Player of the Week' honors on Sept. 12 and 19 ... from Aug. 27 through Sept. 30, Hurtado totaled 40 shots, 12 points, four goals and four assists, which were all league-bests ... Outstanding first-year collegiate forward... led Santa Clara in virtually every offensive category including goals (7), points (16) and shots (42) ...netted three game-winners ...honored as an All-WCC Second Team player and also earned a spot on the All-WCC Freshman Team ... played in 19 of SCU's 20 matches, starting nine ... brilliant unassisted goal in the 76th minute against Sacramento State (Sep. 13) allowed SCU a 1-0 victory ... split the middle-defense en route to scoring in the first half at No. 7 Cal (Sep. 20) ... credited with an assist on teammate's Rodrigo Da Silva's tying goal midway through the second half at Portland (Nov. 1) ... netted the game-winner over USF (Nov. 6) under the lights of Buck Shaw Stadium in a match televised live on the Fox Soccer Channel as the NSCAA's 'Game of the Week' ... scored in the 86th minute to force overtime at St. Mary's (Oct. 25).
