Earlier this month, the league announced ESPN platform tipoff times. Both Santa Clara's home game against Saint Mary's on Jan. 11 (8 p.m. Pacific) and its road contest vs. BYU on Feb. 8 (8 p.m.) will be shown on ESPNU.
The Broncos' conference opener on Dec. 28 will be played at 7 p.m. in Leavey Center and air exclusively on TheW.tv, the league's video streaming outlet. That contest and eight other Bronco tilts will be shown on a combination of those outlets plus NBC Sports California, NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports Plus, as well as AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain (formerly ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain). The remaining six games will be shown exclusively on TheW.tv.
In addition, the 2018 WCC Tournament, set for March 2-6 in Las Vegas, will be featured on ESPN's popular Championship Week coverage.
The Broncos, heading into their second season under head coach Herb Sendek, will play eight of their 12 nonconference tilts in Leavey Center highlighted by matchups against perennial postseason participants Nevada (Nov. 15) and Valparaiso (Dec. 18), and local rival San Jose State (Dec. 21).
Santa Clara opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 10, against La Verne. The Broncos play St. Vincent on Friday, Nov. 3, in their lone exhibition game. Both contests will start at 7 p.m.
A home date against Cal Poly on Nov. 18, kicks off Santa Clara's appearance in the GCI Great Alaska Shootout.
