Men’s Basketball Nonconference Game Times Set

2016-17 Schedule

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Game times for Santa Clara men's basketball's nonconference home games have been set.

The Broncos, with five of their nonconference games against 2015-16 postseason teams, open the regular season Friday, Nov. 11 against Northern Arizona during the opening day of the 50th Annual Cable Car Classic. That game will tip off at 7 p.m., after UC Davis and Tennessee State meet at 4:30 p.m. in the opening tilt of the three-day tournament in Leavey Center.

Santa Clara, heading into its first year under head coach Herb Sendek, plays UC Davis at 6 p.m. the following day and Tennessee State at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, in the final game of the tournament.

Four of the Broncos' final five home nonconference contests will tip off at 7 p.m.

The Broncos will play one exhibition game, facing Life Pacific College on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m.

The West Coast Conference announced its 2016-17 schedule on Aug. 10, though those game times have not been set.

The season ticket renewal process is underway and concludes Friday, Sept. 16. Prospective season ticket holders may place a $50 deposit for priority access once the renewal window ends. Beginning Monday, Sept. 19, new season ticket holders may begin selecting their seat locations.
