SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara University Athletics has partnered with Lyft making the on-demand transportation company the 'Official Rideshare Partner of the Broncos.'
Lyft aims to provide a safe and convenient transportation option for students attending Santa Clara athletic events, and it includes a prominent marketing presence on social media as well as in-venue promotion of convenient rides to and from campus. Pick up and drop-off locations will be positioned near the Leavey Center. This partnership is another step in Lyft's mission to improve people's lives with the world's best transportation.
"It's great to have a new corporate partner based in the Bay Area which offers value to all of our Bronco family," Santa Clara Director of Athletics Renee Baumgartner said.
With the new partnership, Lyft is offering $10 in ride credit for new users with the code GOSCUBRONCOS.
The partnership was secured by Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment (VWSE), Santa Clara's marketing and sponsorship program management firm.
"We are excited to partner with the Santa Clara Broncos to help build upon the community they've created in the Bay Area," Lyft's NorCal General Manager Dave Kunst said. "Now, Broncos fans can count on a reliable transportation option after enjoying the game, and we're thrilled to provide that."
