Red and White Hall of Fame Celebration Registration

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – While there are still a handful of teams in competition, the Red and White Hall of Fame Celebration not only serves as an evening to recognize some of the greats who have donned a Santa Clara uniform, but also an opportunity to acknowledge the many accomplishments of our current student-athletes.

The sixth annual event, which is presented by Heritage Bank of Commerce, includes the Hall of Fame induction, bestowment of senior awards and recognition of our many benefactors and the men's soccer program, which had its 50th anniversary this season.

Many of our nearly 400 student-athletes will get an opportunity to mingle with some of the all-time Santa Clara greats on Saturday, May 12 at Leavey Center.

This year's hall of fame class of seven includes Bryan Barker (football), Tony Tebbutt (men's soccer), Terry Malley (football), Fran Mullins (baseball), Jim Nicholas (men's basketball), George Stein (men's basketball/baseball), and Lisa Swendsen (women's basketball).

Last year's ceremony saw the induction of Steve Nash and a pair of his men's basketball squads (1992-93 and 1995-96) which advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

The Red and White Celebration program begins at 6 p.m., following mass.
