SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University junior utility player Becky Hong was named to the All-Tournament second team at the Women's Western Water Polo Association Championships, which was hosted by UC Santa Cruz at the East Field House April 26 through the 28.

She helped lead her team to a fourth-place finish at the WWWPAs, marking is Santa Clara's highest finish at the tournament. Hong recorded four goals, tying fellow junior teammate Kelley Mays, for the most goals scored by a Santa Clara player at the WWWPAs, including the Broncos' lone goal against LMU in the semifinals. She also recorded seven steals adding to her total of 80 for the season.

Overall, Hong has overpowered some of the top defensive lines to finish second on the team with 56 goals. She scored four goals against then-ranked No. 10 UC Davis on February 2 and against No. 5 UC Santa Cruz on March 9. Hong also had impressive matches against ranked opponents Notre Dame, La Verne and Pamona-Pitzer scoring three goals in each game.
