SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's water polo team continues a five-match home series this weekend at the Leavey Pool with matches against UC San Diego and UC Irvine.

The action begins on Saturday at 10 a.m. when the Broncos take on the Tritons. After a short rest, Santa Clara returns to the pool to host the Anteaters at 3 p.m. The Leavey Pool is located between the Leavey Center and the Pat Malley Fitness and Recreation Center. Admission is free.

The Broncos, 18-10 on the season, have defeated 11 ranked opponents and have won six of their last seven games. The team won the Slugfest Tournament at UC Santa Cruz in mid-February and has advanced to the championship match of two tournaments since.

The team is led by junior Kelley Mays, who has posted 55 goals on the season. Fellow juniors Elizabeth Glotzbach and Becky Hong are right behind her though, with 47 and 45 goals, respectively.

UC San Diego is 15-8 on the season and ranked 12th in the current National Collegiate Women's Top 20 Poll, produced by the Collegiate Water Polo Association. UC Irvine is 7-16 on the season and tied for 18th in the national poll.
