LOS ANGELES - The Santa Clara University women's water polo team lost twice today to closeout play at the Loyola Marymount Invitational. The Broncos fell to Division III top-ranked Redlands 7-4 and Division I seventh-ranked LMU 9-1. Santa Clara's overall record moves to 14-15 on the season.

Against Redlands, Elizabeth Glotzbach, Becky Hong, Katy Shumm and Alanna Simpkins scored one goal each. Anne Ginotti recorded five blocks in the cage.

Santa Clara's lone goal against the Lions came from freshman Kathleen Hamm.

Today's matches marked the sixth and seventh for the Broncos in a five-day span. Santa Clara will return to the pool on April 5, hosting an Alumni game at the Leavey Pool at noon.
