"I am very proud of the fact that we had 11 players on the 2007 ACWPC Women's All Academic Team," said head coach Keith Wilbur. "Academic excellence is a top priority for student-athletes at Santa Clara, and I believe the players on our team have done a great job of excelling in the class room while also striving to do their best at their sport. It is great to see 11 athletes and our team recognized for this by the ACWPC."
The Broncos had another strong season in 2007, finishing 22-14 overall and 16-5 in the Western Water Polo Association. The team placed fourth in the WWPA and ended the year with a No. 16 ranking nationally.
