Head coach Keith Wilbur, on game: "We didn't shoot the ball as well as we normally do. We missed to 5-meter chances and we hit a lot of posts and crossbars. We had our opportunities because we drew 11 kickouts and we had two 5-meter chances, but we just didn't convert."
Wilbur, on comeback: "We got ourselves back in the game, but they did a good job of responding every time we got close. They have some good players and they scored when they had their chances. They also did a great job defensively to block a lot of our shots."
Wilbur, looking ahead to Sunday: "Stanford is the top team in the nation so that will be a good learning experience for us. We want to play as well as we can see where we are. We also have an important game against Maryland, who is a good East Coast team. That should be a good game for us."
