Brianna Anderson, on team's performance: "We were very active, and our defensive was solid. We pressed out hard which worked against their offense and they dropped a lot in the beginning which worked to our advantage."
Christie Miller, on team's performance: "I think we came out strong and we had offensive fury from all over the place. Keeping the score to 14-4. Good offensive series, good defensive series."
Coach Keith Wilbur, on game: "I thought they played well. I always think they play with a little extra energy when we're at home and we have a crowd. It was St. Patrick's Day so we had a good crowd; people were out and cheering loud so that helps them a lot. But they played very well defensively at the start of the game, which I feel really set the tone for us. But over the course of the game, I think we started to figure out what they were doing defensively which enabled us to score some more goals. I think towards the end of the game we really figured out how to put the ball into the cage."
Coach Keith Wilbur on going into the game against CS Monterey Bay: "Monterey Bay has a really strong 2 meter player, so that's really going to be a focus to us, either to deny her ever getting the ball or, if she gets good position, to drop back and basically double team her. So that's going to be our biggest challenge, getting her out of the game offensively. And then the rest is kind of the same with Sonoma State is to play good defense, get a counter attack going, and execute on offense."
