Head Coach Keith Wilbur, on game: "We're really happy with the win. It was a really fun crowd for our first home game. The team came out and played with a lot of energy. We could have done better, but our 6-on-5 D was pretty good."
Wilbur, on playing in front of a home crowd: "There is something about playing in front of friends and family. When they are here, we just seem to come out really strong. With their support I think we really set the pace of the game tonight. It makes me wish we had a lot more home games!"
Wilbur, looking ahead to next weekend's tournament in Irvine, Calif.: "Getting a win like this at home against a team like Northridge will really give us confidence as we get ready to get tested against some of the best competition in the nation."
Amy Lamb, on teaming up with sister Allie: "We just play really well together. In the pool the chemistry is really good and we read each other well. It was a great play tonight on that goal."
Lamb, on team's preparation: "We spent a lot of time focusing on being aggressive. We wanted to go out and set the tempo for the game. We were really fired up to play at home and we did a great job."
Claire Linney, on team's performance: "We came out with a lot of energy. The crowd helped a lot with that. Seeing my friends and family out there made it a lot of fun."
Linney, looking ahead to next weekend: "We're going to be playing against some of the top teams but if we can play like we did tonight, I think we'll do well."
