SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara volleyball senior Brittany Lowe earned her fourth career weekly honor as she was named CVU.com (Collegiate Volleyball Update) National Player of the Week, it was announced Tuesday. Lowe led the No. 22 Broncos to a 2-0 West Coast Conference road weekend with a 3-0 sweep of then-No. 19 Pepperdine and a 3-1 victory over Loyola Marymount.

A 6-0 outside hitter from Yorba Linda, Calif., Lowe knocked down a team-high 14 kills, recording a double-double by adding 15 digs as Santa Clara not only swept Pepperdine, but earned a sweep in the season series. The senior hit .324 in the match and also added a service ace.

Then Saturday at Loyola Marymount, Lowe again came through with similar numbers. She again had a team-high, tallying 16 kills while picking up another double-double as she scooped 14 digs.
