Milton Named MVP, Mead All-Tournament As Volleyball Wins Tournament With Win Over Host-Hofstra
Dropping its first set for the first time this year, Santa Clara rallied to win the next three sets and defeated host-Hofstra 3-1 to win the ACICS Hofstra Invitational on Saturday night. Senior Taylor Milton was named the MVP and freshman Kirsten Mead was named to the All-Tournament team.

Volleyball Makes Quick Work of Lafayette To Move To 2-0
Continuing to play behind the hot hand of Sabrina Clayton, Santa Clara made quick work of Lafayette on Saturday afternoon in Long Island, N.Y. in its second match of the season at host-Hofstra. The Broncos move to 2-0 and Lafayette falls to 1-3. The match lasted one hour and five minutes. Santa Clara will finish play vs. host-Hofstra Saturday evening at 4:30 pm Pacific.

Volleyball Opens 2014 By Sweeping St. Francis Brooklyn
Santa Clara started off the 2014 season on Friday with a 3-0 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn in Long Island, N.Y. The Broncos are 1-0 and SFU is 0-2. Santa Clara moves on to play Lafayette on Saturday at 12 pm and then host-Hofstra to close out the tournament at 4:30 pm (both are Pacific time).

Bronco Volleyball Opens 2014 Season With East Coast Swing
The Santa Clara volleyball team hits the road for a seven-game stretch to open the 2014 season. The Broncos will play three matches in Long Island, N.Y. to open the year. They will then travel to West Point, N.Y. to play Army. Their 10-day trip will end in Boston with three matches at Harvard.

EYEBRONCO: Mystery Excursion Day with Volleyball
The Bronco Volleyball coaching staff planned a mystery excursion day for the team as a break from double days and a fun team bonding activity. The women found themselves at the Google offices in San Francisco and heard four former Bronco volleyball players speak about their experiences at Santa Clara and how they transitioned into their roles at Google. After lunch, the team drove down Lombard Street and walked on the Golden Gate Bridge. Hear from EyeBronco reporters Madison Dutra and Mary Shepherd about their day! Bronco Volleyball Reports Friday
The Santa Clara volleyball team opens its 2014 season on the East Coast in Long Island, N.Y., but prior to departing, the Broncos will spend 17 days practicing, bonding and getting to know each other better on and off the court. In the calm before the storm of two-a-days, Bronco head coach Jon Wallace (JW) sat down Thursday morning to talk about the schedule for the next week, what the team will to do bond and what kind of shape the team is coming back to campus in (GREAT!).

Volleyball Releases 2014 Schedule
Looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament, Santa Clara volleyball announced its schedule Thursday. The season kicks off Aug. 29 at Hofstra where the Broncos will play four games in two days as part of a tournament. West Coast Conference play begins Sept. 26 at San Francisco with the conference home opener coming four days later.

Bronco Sand Defeats Cal 3-2 To Close Out Season
Santa Clara wrapped up its sand season on April 18 with a 3-2 victory at Cal. The Broncos finished their second season of sand with a 7-8 record, falling six times to top 10 teams.

Bronco Sand Looks Back At Successful Second Season
Playing a number of the top teams in the country, Santa Clara ended its sand season with a 7-8 record this year. With six of its losses to top 10 nationally-ranked teams, the Broncos collected wins vs. Cal, Stanford and USF in their second-season of play.
