Volleyball Falls In 3 At No. 1 Stanford As Milton & Edwards Named All-Tournament
Playing its second top 20 team of the day, Santa Clara fell in three sets at No. 1 Stanford on Saturday night. Santa Clara is 8-2 and Stanford is 7-0. Stanford won the Invitational with the Broncos finishing as the runner-up. Set scores were 25-14, 25-15 and 25-11.

Volleyball Dispatches Of No. 20 Duke In 3; Play At No. 1 Stanford Tonight
Playing two top 20 teams in one day, Santa Clara dispatched of the first one, No. 20 Duke in three sets on Saturday morning at the Leavey Center. Game scores were 25-22, 25-22. Santa Clara is 8-1 and Duke is 5-3. It is Santa Clara’s first win over a top 20 team since it defeated then-No. 18 Pepperdine 3-2 on 9/29/12. It is their fourth win over a top 25 team in the last two years. Santa Clara’s last win over a non-conference team vs. No. 16 Kansas State in the 2008 NCAA tournament first round on 12-5-08. (3-2).

Volleyball Defeats Penn To Open 2014 Home Slate
Santa Clara opened its 2014 home slate with a 3-0 victory over the Penn Quakers on Friday night. Game scores were 25-22, 25-12 and 25-19. Santa Clara is 7-1 and Penn is 2-3.

EYEBRONCO: Volleyball Weekend Preview
After starting the season with a 6-1 record on its East Coast road trip, Santa Clara volleyball returns to the South Bay for two home matches and a road match this weekend. Volleyball Hosts Penn and No. 20 Duke Before Traveling To No. 1 Stanford This Weekend
On the road for their first seven matches, the Broncos (6-1) will return home Fri., Sept. 12 for a 7 pm match vs. Penn (2-2) and then host No. 20 Duke (5-1) on Sat., Sept. 13 at 11 am. The Broncos will then travel up I-280 on Saturday night to face the new No. 1 in college volleyball, Stanford (4-0), at 7 pm in Palo Alto. Santa Clara's last time facing the No. 1 team was also at Stanford, when the Broncos fell 3-0 in in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in 2007 (Nov. 30, 2007). They also fell 3-0 to No. 1 Nebraska in the Final Four in 2005 as the only two matches vs. No. 1s. Nebraska went on to win the NCAA title that year as well.

Lacey Maas Comes Out Swinging Her Junior Year

Volleyball Finishes East Coast Swing With 3-0 Win Over Delaware; Milton and Clayton Named All-Tournament
In its final match on the East Coast, Santa Clara defeated Delaware 3-0 on Saturday morning to move to 6-1 while the Blue Hens dropped to 3-3. Set scores were 25-21, 25-20 and 25-20. Taylor Milton and Sabrina Clayton were both named to the Harvard Invitational All-Tournament Team.

Volleyball Loses In Five At Harvard
Taking a 2-0 lead wasn’t enough for the Broncos as they dropped the next three games to host-Harvard on Friday night at the Harvard Invitational in Cambridge, Mass. The Broncos move to 5-1 with Harvard opening its season at 1-0. Set scores were 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 18-25 and 13-15.

Volleyball Tops Central Conn. State 3-0 In First Match Of The Day
With Taylor Milton leading the Broncos with 13 kills, Santa Clara made fast work of Central Connecticut State in its first match at the Harvard Invitational in Cambridge, Mass. The Broncos move to 5-0 with Central Connecticut State falling to 0-4. Set scores were 25-14, 25-15 and 25-13.

Volleyball Set To Play In Harvard Invitational
Santa Clara takes its 4-0 record to Boston this weekend as the Broncos play three matches at host-Harvard University. Santa Clara will play Central Connecticut State (0-3) at 1 pm on Fri., Sept. 5 and then later in the day will open Harvard’s season at 4 pm. Santa Clara will finish off East Coast play vs. Delaware (2-2) on Sat., Sept. 6 at 10 am.

Undefeated On the East Coast, Catch Up With Head Coach Jon Wallace
After posting a 4-0 record in the state of New York to start the season, the Santa Clara volleyball team moved up the East Coast further on Wednesday, pitching their camp in Boston, Mass. They will spend time practicing the next two days, while squeezing in some sightseeing in anticipation of playing at the Harvard Invitational this weekend in Cambridge, Mass.

On the hottest day of the summer in New York, continuing its strong early-season play, Santa Clara defeated Army 3-0 at West Point Academy on Tuesday evening. The Broncos move to 4-0 with Army falling to 2-3.

Milton Named MVP, Mead All-Tournament As Volleyball Wins Tournament With Win Over Host-Hofstra
Dropping its first set for the first time this year, Santa Clara rallied to win the next three sets and defeated host-Hofstra 3-1 to win the ACICS Hofstra Invitational on Saturday night. Senior Taylor Milton was named the MVP and freshman Kirsten Mead was named to the All-Tournament team.

Volleyball Makes Quick Work of Lafayette To Move To 2-0
Continuing to play behind the hot hand of Sabrina Clayton, Santa Clara made quick work of Lafayette on Saturday afternoon in Long Island, N.Y. in its second match of the season at host-Hofstra. The Broncos move to 2-0 and Lafayette falls to 1-3. The match lasted one hour and five minutes. Santa Clara will finish play vs. host-Hofstra Saturday evening at 4:30 pm Pacific.

Volleyball Opens 2014 By Sweeping St. Francis Brooklyn
Santa Clara started off the 2014 season on Friday with a 3-0 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn in Long Island, N.Y. The Broncos are 1-0 and SFU is 0-2. Santa Clara moves on to play Lafayette on Saturday at 12 pm and then host-Hofstra to close out the tournament at 4:30 pm (both are Pacific time).

Bronco Volleyball Opens 2014 Season With East Coast Swing
The Santa Clara volleyball team hits the road for a seven-game stretch to open the 2014 season. The Broncos will play three matches in Long Island, N.Y. to open the year. They will then travel to West Point, N.Y. to play Army. Their 10-day trip will end in Boston with three matches at Harvard.

EYEBRONCO: Mystery Excursion Day with Volleyball
The Bronco Volleyball coaching staff planned a mystery excursion day for the team as a break from double days and a fun team bonding activity. The women found themselves at the Google offices in San Francisco and heard four former Bronco volleyball players speak about their experiences at Santa Clara and how they transitioned into their roles at Google. After lunch, the team drove down Lombard Street and walked on the Golden Gate Bridge. Hear from EyeBronco reporters Madison Dutra and Mary Shepherd about their day! Bronco Volleyball Reports Friday
The Santa Clara volleyball team opens its 2014 season on the East Coast in Long Island, N.Y., but prior to departing, the Broncos will spend 17 days practicing, bonding and getting to know each other better on and off the court. In the calm before the storm of two-a-days, Bronco head coach Jon Wallace (JW) sat down Thursday morning to talk about the schedule for the next week, what the team will to do bond and what kind of shape the team is coming back to campus in (GREAT!).

Volleyball Releases 2014 Schedule
Looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament, Santa Clara volleyball announced its schedule Thursday. The season kicks off Aug. 29 at Hofstra where the Broncos will play four games in two days as part of a tournament. West Coast Conference play begins Sept. 26 at San Francisco with the conference home opener coming four days later.

Bronco Sand Defeats Cal 3-2 To Close Out Season
Santa Clara wrapped up its sand season on April 18 with a 3-2 victory at Cal. The Broncos finished their second season of sand with a 7-8 record, falling six times to top 10 teams.

Bronco Sand Looks Back At Successful Second Season
Playing a number of the top teams in the country, Santa Clara ended its sand season with a 7-8 record this year. With six of its losses to top 10 nationally-ranked teams, the Broncos collected wins vs. Cal, Stanford and USF in their second-season of play.
