Head Coach Jon Wallace
On the change between games one and two:
"They did what we did in the first game. They served well and we didn't pass well. I think we let up a little bit because game one was so easy and that's how San Francisco got they edge. They played well in that second game."
On what was said in the locker room during the break:
"Go back. Start over. Nothing has been lost. They could get the edge back and I believe we were a little soft in the third game but we battled it out and I'm proud of them."
On Caroline Walters approaching the all-time digs record:
"I hope it happens at home in front of a large crowd on Saturday. She's worked really hard to get to this point. She makes routine plays look simple and that's what makes her a great player."
Senior libero Caroline Walters
On approaching the all-time digs record:
"It's in the back of my mind. What's at the forefront is winning. But now I know it's definitely going to happen and I would just love for it to happen at home on Saturday."
On the difference between games one and two:
"We lost the energy and focus. We weren't celebrating plays like in the first game and our passing was not as well as game one."
On being in sole possession of first place in the WCC:
"I don't think a lot of us thought we'd be in this position with all the injuries we've faced and that small drought right before conference play. But it is unbelieve to be where we are today and winning another WCC title would be incredible."
