Santa Clara University Head Coach Jon Wallace "We were a little nervous at first, but once we settled down, we got into the groove of our offense, which is quick, fast and pretty powerful. Over time, we figured them out, we started putting pressure on them, and transitioning back. Game three is really an indication of what these girls can do."
Santa Clara University Player Roz Pelayo "We weren't as smooth as I would have liked to have been with our offense, but I think we got a lot smother as the game wore on. We're building up our confidence and getting ready for tomorrow, it's going to be a great game."
Sacramento State Head Coach Debby Colberg "We got out-played. Santa Clara played well in every aspect of the game: they passed well, they served well against us, their defense was up to par, and offensively we just didn't have an answer for them. A big difference between the teams is they have a lot of experience and our youth showed tonight."
Sacramento State Player Tasman Dwyer "It was a fun season. To watch our progression, to start off and have such a rocky start, and then come together and take our conference as well as our conference tournament, it was awesome, it was a great feeling. We felt successful this year."
