Quotes - Santa Clara vs. Fresno Pacific

Recap

Head coach Ben Cabell: "I am happy with the results today. The team keeps improving and that is encouraging. We now have a bit of momentum going into the WCCs this weekend."

Cabell, on seniors: "Erika, Kim and Casey have all had great careers for us and it was nice to send them out with a win at home. They are great to coach and they come to every practice and every match with a great attitude. They listen, they learn and they are tough."

Cabell, on Knutson's match: "That has to be one of the top matches in this program's history. Her opponent was in the finals of the Division I NCAA Tournament two years ago so Casey would not see many players better than her. She hung in with her the whole time and nearly pulled it out at the end. It was just an excellent performance by Casey."

Senior Kim Daniel, on clinching the match: "I really wanted to close it out because I knew that Casey was in a close match also. Even though I was down in the second set, I just focused on each point and made sure that I did not make any mistakes."

Daniel, on playing her final home match: "It is great to go out with a match-clinching win. I loved playing here and I am going to miss the atmosphere. It is a bit sad, but I had a lot of fun in my career here and I will take a lot of memories with me."
