Tricia Guidace is in her eleventh season on the Mission Campus as an assistant coach. She will assist head coach Ben Cabell in all aspects of the program.

Guidace spent the 2004 campaign as the program's interim head coach, named to the position in September 2003. She led the team to a 12-12 mark with seven nationally-ranked teams on the schedule, and a fourth-place finish at the West Coast Conference Championship.

Guidace originally joined the SCU program in October 2002 as an assistant coach, and helped lead the Broncos to a third-place finish at the West Coast Conference Championships for the second straight year, and an 11th ranking in the Northwest Region.

"Santa Clara offers great opportunities for student-athletes," Guidace said. "The women's tennis program has such potential; I am excited to be a part of it at such a pivotal time."

Guidace attended Presentation High School in nearby San Jose as well as San Jose State University. She has been an assistant professional at the San Jose Swim & Racquet Club for the last seven years. She worked on campus the past three summers as an instructor of the Santa Clara Nike Tennis Camp.

Guidace and her husband John have a daughter, Ashley. The family resides in Willow Glen.
