Interim women's tennis head coach Ben Cabell, on day: "Today was another great day for the team. We did not lose any matches that we shouldn't have lost and we won some big matches that people might not have expected. I am proud of how the team keeps battling."
Cabell, on tough early schedule: "I think that by playing in some very tough tournaments against good opponents early in the season, we are learning a lot. Even though we lost some matches in the first two tournaments, the team has gotten tougher because of those matches and they have learned what it takes to win. The team is really progressing and getting better every week."
Cabell, on McBride's singles win over Stanford's Megan Doheney: "That was a big win for Lindsay and for the team. Stanford is the top team in the country so getting a win against any of their players is a great accomplishment. Lindsay played really well and responded after losing the second set and had a great third set."
