Head coach Ben Cabell, on win: "It was nice to be at home and get a win. Any W we can get right now is good for the team and our confidence. We were also able to win without our No. 2 player, Myra Davoudi, out of the lineup also so I am proud of the effort."
Cabell, on play of Casey Knutson: "Casey keeps stepping up her game every match. Today was no different. She is setting a great example for the rest of the team for how to play the right way. I have been very impressed with how she continues to get better."
Cabell, on Meghan Madden's match: "Every player has to get through matches like that in her career. Meghan had not been through one of those matches before so it was good to see her get through it. She did not get down and she kept on competing to the end to get the win."
Senior Casey Knutson, on her play recently: "This is my last season so I know that I only have a few matches left so I want to play as well as I can. I want to play well for my teammates and finish my career doing the best I can. That is really motivating me."
Knutson, on win: "We all felt comfortable out there today and got a solid win. We needed a good match today to get our confidence up. Hopefully, we can keep it going this weekend."
Knutson, on doubles with Erika Barnes: "We are playing well together, but I have to credit Erika. She makes it so easy for me because she is such a good doubles player. We have a lot of confidence in each other right now and we feel like we can beat anyone. We need to take that mindset into the rest of the matches this season."
