HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Carolyn Brown and Cuyler Legler at Redwood High School in Visalia, Calif... won the CIF Championships in doubles her freshman year... placed second in doubles her sophomore year... was fourth in singles during junior and senior seasons... won league all four years and was third in Valley her junior year... honored by team as MVP as a sophomore and a senior, while receiving Most Inspirational all four seasons... was a member of the California Scholarship Federation and Associated Student Body... was a scholar-athlete... nominated as only girl in her class for the "high school Heisman award"... ranked top 25 in NorCal her junior and senior years.
