Softball Signs Two to National Letters of Intent

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara softball head coach Lisa Mize announced the signing of two players to national letters of intent. Morgana Dallas and Riley McKay will join the Santa Clara softball team in the fall of 2009. "I am very proud to welcome Morgana and Riley to Santa Clara," said Mize of her first recruiting class. "Both possess great work ethic in the classroom and on the field; they personify the Santa Clara values of student-athletes and we are excited they will be joining the softball program next fall." 2009-10 Santa Clara Recruiting Class
Morgana Dallas Mize on Morgana Dallas: "Morgana is a great competitor and has a never give up attitude. Her knowledge and game sense is a true asset to her game. She is the kind of player that loves to be up to bat with the game on the line, and has a great eye for the ball and bat control."
Riley McKay
Mize on Riley McKay: "Riley will be a great addition to the pitching staff and will have an immediate impact on the team. I am really looking forward to working with her to develop in the circle. She is not afraid to be challenged and possesses a great work ethic that will take her to the next level."
