Forman-Lau Named to Pacific All-Region Team

May 19, 2004

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University senior pitcher Jaime Forman-Lau was named a second-team Pacific All-Region selection, announced by the Nation Fastpitch Coaches Association.

This honor is just the latest for Forman-Lau, a San Jose native from Archbishop Mitty High School. Last week, she was repeated as the Pacific Coast Softball Conference Pitcher of the Year while also receiving first team All-PCSC honors. During conference play, Forman-Lau led the league in ERA (1.32), opposing batting average (.201), innings pitched (100.2) and strikeouts (131) while leading the Broncos to the PCSC Championship. She finished the season ranked 13th nationally in victories, with 25.

Overall, Forman-Lau earned PCSC Pitcher of the Week honors on four occasions and closed the season with a 1.45 ERA. Her 278 strikeouts gave Forman-Lau a program-best 557 in two years.
