AS A SENIOR IN 2002: Received the Bronco of the Year Award which is given annually to the player who best exemplifies what it means to play Bronco Softball, including attitude, effort, support of teammates, results and best representation of the program…started all 63 games this season...has started all 232 games of her career... in 163 at-bats she was able to produce 38 hits and 25 runs with a .233 batting average…recorded one double and one triple on the season…left her mark in the career record books as she places fifth for at-bats with 609 and third for sacrifices with 29. AS A JUNIOR IN 2001: Started in all 57 games…recorded 33 hits on the season driving in six runs…recorded five doubles on the season against Sacramento State on March 9, New Mexico on March 14, Sacramento State on April 4t Saint Mary’s on April 22, and Cal Poly on May 4…recorded two triples against Sacramento State on April 4 and UC Santa Barbara on February 23…led the team in hit by pitch with eight…recorded a .984 fielding percentage. AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000: Named to the WISL All-Tournament Team after going 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a 9-3 victory over Loyola Marymount on May 13… joined Roni Rivera and Sydney Wiginton as one of three players to start all 51 games… posted 19 hits in 122 at bats, adding six runs… led all infielders defensively with 422 putouts, including 19 vs. Pacific on Feb. 8… registered double digits in putouts 19 times… added 15 assists. AS A FRESHMAN IN 1999: Started 63 games... contributed to the Broncos defense with 117 assists and 135 putouts... batted .204 with 32 hits, four doubles, two triples and eleven runs batted in... stole nine bases in 12 attempts, the second highest total on the team... named to the WISL All-Tournament Team. HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Clovis West High School, playing third base for Garry Battles… batted .351 with eight home runs her senior year... led her team to a first-place finish in North Yosemite League as a junior... a three-time All-North Yosemite first team selection... voted her team’s Most Valuable Player, Best Defense, and Most Inspirational... also lettered in volleyball… was also involved in the National Honors Society, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the California Scholarship Federation…. was a four-year member of the honor roll.
