Nine Broncos Named To PCSC Commissioner's Honor Roll

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Pacific Coast Softball Conference announced the 2006 Commissioner's Honor Roll on July 30 and nine members of the Santa Clara University team were recognized. 43 student-athletes from the six-team conference were recognized with the honor. Student-athletes who achieve a grade point average of 3.0 or higher earn a spot on the PCSC honor roll. With nine members of the honor roll, Santa Clara finished second in the conference, behind Sacramento State, which had 12.

Seniors Angela Kabanuck and Sara Overmier led the way for the Broncos by being named to the honor roll after previously earning All-PCSC Second Team honors. Other honorees were Emily Batt, Ashley Blier, Maggie Godfrey, Noelani Hoopii, Nori Kamada, Sara Overmier, Nicole Picard and Britney Sanford.
