Klein and Bosio Named To Top Drawer Soccer Team Of The Season

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Senior captain Brittany Klein and sophomore forward Kiki Bosio were named to the 2007 Top Drawer Soccer Women's College Team of the Season, it was announced Wednesday. The honor is the first for both student-athletes.

A two-time All-WCC selection, Bosio earned first team honors from Top Drawer Soccer. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native scored seven goals in the regular season, which is four more than her freshman total. She led the team in assists with six and was first on the team with 20 points. Meanwhile, midfielder Klein received third team honors. Thus far this season, the Arcadia, Calif., native, tied the team best seven goals and dished out two assists for 16 points.

Santa Clara earned its 19th consecutive NCAA appearance on Monday and will face Cal-Berkeley in the opening round on Friday, Nov. 16 at 4:30 p.m. at Stanford University.
