SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The No. 10 Santa Clara women's soccer team, after several days of rest, returns to action against West Coast Conference rival San Francisco Sunday afternoon. Kick off in the Broncos last road game of the regular season is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Negoesco Stadium in San Francisco.

Last Week For Bronco Women's Soccer
Santa Clara faced two hard-fought losses last week to WCC foes Gonzaga and Portland. Against the Bulldogs, Kiki Bosio scored the lone goal for the Broncos in the 2-1 decision. It was Gonzaga's first win over SCU since the series began in 1992. Then on Sunday, the Broncos faced the nationally-ranked Pilots in front of a sold out crowd on ESPNU. Portland posted a 2-0 victory over SCU.

Bosio continues to lead the Broncos in points and assists this season. She has tallied a team-best 17 points and dished out five assists. She also leads the Broncos in shots with 49. Senior captain Brittany Klein is first on the team in goals. She has scored seven this season and sits in second place on the squad in points with 15. Redshirt senior Tina Estrada rounds out the top three in goals and points with five and 11, respectively. Meanwhile, junior goalkeeper Meagan McCray has collected 82 saves this season and posted five shutouts.

Santa Clara in WCC
The Broncos enter the fourth week of WCC play tied for fifth overall with Gonzaga and San Francisco. All three teams own a 2-3-0 league record. Santa Clara is also ranked second in saves. In points and goals, the Broncos rank third. Individually, Bosio leads the conference in shots, while being tied for fifth in points. In goals, Klein is in tied for third place with Bosio being tied for fifth and Estrada tied for ninth. Estrada is also ranked fourth in shots. In saves, McCray holds onto the No. 2 spot and is ranked fourth in shutouts.

In conference games only, Bosio remains in the top spot in shots and is tied for sixth in goals and eighth in points. Estrada is tied for second in shots, while Klein is tied for sixth in goals and eighth in points.

Broncos on the National Stage
The Broncos are nationally ranked in two categories this week. As a team, Santa Clara is No. 82 in win-loss-tied percentage and No. 85 in save percentage.

Scouting San Francisco
The Dons enter the weekend tied with the Broncos in conference play with a 2-3-0 record. USF is 2-11-3 on the season and fell 3-0 to Loyola Marymount in their last outing.

Leading the way for the Dons this season is sophomore midfielder Jenny Jarvie with six points on a team-best three goals. Sophomore forward Samantha Brand is USF's assist leader, dishing out three thus far, while junior midfielder Katherine Kimure has led the attack with 31 total shots. Junior goalkeeper Katie Hodgson has seen action in all 15 of USF's contests this season and has compiled a .687 save percentage.

The Broncos own a 22-0-0 all-time record against the Dons and last met on Oct. 29, 2006 at Buck Shaw Stadium. SCU blanked USF, 4-0, with Marian Dalmy scoring two of the four goals.

On Deck
Santa Clara brings the regular season to a close on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Buck Shaw Stadium. The Broncos will host the Gaels of Saint Mary's on Senior Day with a kick off scheduled for 1 p.m.
