SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Senior Kiki Bosio was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week today for her play this past weekend at the Stanford/Nike Classic.
The Mission Viejo, Calif. native scored the game-winning goal in the first overtime period to defeat No. 23 Colorado 1-0 and assisted on both Santa Clara goals in a 2-1 win over Wisconsin.
The Broncos finished second in the Stanford/Nike Classic. The Cardinal won their own tournament with two victories and a plus-10 goal differential.
Bosio is the second Santa Clara player to be honored by the WCC this season. Last week, redshirt senior Jordan Angeli shared recognition with Portland's Michelle Enyeart.
