SANTA CLARA, Calif. - A pair of tournament medalist winners share this month's WCC women's Golfer of the Month award.

Freshman Meggie Fagundes made Santa Clara women's golf history when she became the program's first-ever golfer to capture medalist honors from a tournament. Fagundes carded a two round total of seven over par, 150, to finish as the top individual at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational. The Atwater, CA native finished five strokes ahead of her nearest competitor, leading the Broncos to a third place finish in the 11-team tournament. The third place finish by SCU was their best this season.

Pepperdine senior Katherine Hull continued her brilliant season by sharing individual medalist honors with USC's Mikaela Parmlid in the loaded UCLA Pioneer Electronic Bruin Classic. Hull finished the tournament with a three over par total of 219, leading the Waves to their fourth straight tournament crown.

Fagundes and the Broncos return to action on April 14-15 at the WCC Championships in Fresno, Calif.
