Women's Golf Falls to Cal Poly in Dual Action
April 9, 2001
SAN MARTIN, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's golf team fell to Cal Poly 372-437 this afternoon at the CordeValle Golf Club, a par-72 layout in San Martin. Windy conditions made the course play much longer than its 6,064 yards. "It was at least a two-club wind," head coach Polly Schulze said. "It was brutal out there, and cold." Low score of the day belongs to the Mustangs' Megan Boss, who carded an 87. Santa Clara was led by junior Sarah Dahm's 96. The Broncos return to action next Monday at the West Coast Conference Championships. The 36-hole tournament will take place April 16-17 on the Windsor Golf Course in Santa Rosa.
