Women’s Golf Places Second At Rain-Shortened Hobble Creek Classic
SPRINGVILLE, Utah – The Santa Clara women’s golf team claimed second place at the 12-team Hobble Creek Fall Classic after Tuesday’s final round was cancelled due to rain and unplayable conditions. Scores from yesterday’s 36 holes of play will stand as the final results.

SPRINGVILLE, Utah – Led by sophomore Annie Freeman, the Santa Clara women’s golf team sits alone in second place, 13 strokes behind New Mexico State, after the first two rounds of the 12-team Hobble Creek Fall Classic, completed today at the Hobble Creek Golf Course.

Women’s Golf Opens Fall Season Monday At Hobble Creek Classic
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara women’s golf team opens its fall season Monday competing in the 12-team Hobble Creek Fall Classic. The field will play 54-holes over two days on the 6,032 yard, par-71 Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah.

Meghan Shain Talks Summer Golf Tournaments
Women’s golf junior Meghan Shain (MS) booked her schedule full this summer with golf tournaments all over the country. After posting the third-best average on the team last season, Shain hopes making a few small improvements will lead to an even better season for her junior year. Las Vegas native Anne Freman (AF) set the bar high for herself, having one of the most decorated freshman seasons in Bronco women’s golf history. On top of her winning accolades, Freman was named 2014 WCC Freshman of the Year. Freman hopes to build off of her success last season as she continues her career at SCU.
