"Individually it could not have been more exciting. Tamara Surtees and Miki Ueoka tied for first with a 149 forcing a sudden death playoff. After three playoff holes, Tamara clinched her first collegiate win by rolling in a downhill 15 foot putt for birdie.

"I am so proud of both Tamara and Miki for playing so well today. Being such good friends I know it was tough on them to go head to head for the win and I am glad it was won with a great birdie putt.

"We are excited to head to Cal Poly next week to keep building on our momentum. The team is ready for the team win and I am excited to see what happens."
