Women's Hoops to Host Stop, Pop & Drop 3-on3 Tourney

The Santa Clara University women's basketball team is hosting the 11th Annual Stop, Pop, & Drop 3-on-3 Tournament on Sunday, May 16, at 9 a.m. The tournament, held in the Leavey Center on the SCU campus, includes four divisions: Men's Competitive, Men's Recreational, Women's Competitive and Women's Recreational. The cost of the tournament is $40 per team if paid in advance, or $50 at the door. Each player will receive a tournament t-shirt and each team is guaranteed four games. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division. The event will be overseen by current team members as well as the coaching staff. "We hope to have another wonderful turnout this year," head coach Michelle Bento-Jackson said. "Our goal is that this event will continue to give friends of the program, the Santa Clara community and fans of basketball in general an opportunity to get to know our program in a fun and competitive environment."
