Blake Malcolm joined the Santa Clara women's basketball staff in October 2007 as director of basketball operations. His primary responsibilities include the establishing of community service activities, assisting with on-campus recruiting, serving as an assistant camp director as well as being involved with the day-to-day office operations. Malcolm received his bachelor of science in kinesiology with an emphasis on secondary physical education from Long Beach State in 2007, where he spent two seasons as a team manager for the men's basketball team. With the 49ers, he organized logistics for team practices and games, produced and edited game film, assisted with film exchange and evaluation, and instructed the summer camps for high school and middle school aged students. "I am extremely excited to join the Santa Clara women's basketball staff," said Malcolm. "I am committed to working hard and doing what I can to make sure the team has another successful year." Malcolm is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports management at San Jose State. |
