Blake Malcolm joined the Santa Clara University women's basketball staff in October 2007 as the director of basketball operations. Malcolm is intricately involved in the day-to-day functions of all team and player activities.
His responsibilities also include establishing community service relationships, assisting with on-campus recruiting and serving as assistant director of Santa Clara's women's basketball summer camps.
Malcolm received a bachelor of science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Secondary Physical Education from Long Beach State University in 2007, where he spent two seasons as a team manager for the Long Beach State men's basketball team.
As part of the 49ers' staff, Malcolm organized logistics for team practices and games. He also produced and edited game film, assisted with film exchange and evaluation, and instructed the summer camps for high school and middle school aged students.
A native of nearby Campbell, Calif., Malcolm completed his master's degree in Sports Management at San Jose State University in May of 2009.
