Head Coach Michelle Bento-Jackson:
On the game:
"Gonzaga got some open shots tonight and they made them. We had some defensive breakdowns at times, but they just got too many good looks."
On the rebounding margin:
"We didn't give ourselves any opportunities for second chances, while on the other end, they had plenty of second chances with their offensive rebounds. That hurt us in the first half."
On the girls coming out aggressive to start the contest:
"I thought that for the most part our girls played really hard tonight, they gave great effort. But we just had a spurt there in the second half where we just weren't making the best decisions in terms of our shot selection, and we started panicking a little bit because we weren't scoring."
On bouncing back with a hot shooting night:
"The reason why we got the open looks that we did tonight was because our execution was just much better. It was very poor against Saint Mary's, and our shot selection was not good, but we worked a lot on our offense this week in practice and I think it showed tonight."
