About the Game
"It was a very difficult game. I can't honestly say that there was one area that we played well in. I thought Maryland controlled us in every area offensively, defensively, in transition and on the boards. At least in the second half we came out and played more inspired. We played with effort, which I was happy with. But certainly we didn't play at the level we want to be at nor that we need to be in order to win games like tonight's. Hopefully we'll be able to continue to work hard in that area."
On playing the team's first game in the newly-renovated Leavey Center
"It was the first time Maryland played in here too. We did seem nervous and certainly didn't shoot the ball well, so I don't know if it had anything to do with the building or not. It's unfortunate because it's such a nice place. To come out and not play well is obviously disappointing."
Looking forward to Texas Tech
"All positions are open right now. We're going to have two hard practices prior to that game and obviously we're going to play the game to win, but I'm not so concerned with the result of the Texas Tech game at this point. I'm more concerned with if we're going to improve and get better and how we're going to go about doing that."
