SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's water polo team lost to fourth-ranked USC 16-4 at San Jose State University's Aquatics Center. The game was played in the rain and the Broncos are now 10-23 overall.

"We just played them as hard as we could," head coach Keith Wilbur said. "They countered against us really well in the first quarter, but we were able to adjust, forcing them to score on us in set plays."

The Broncos' goal scoring was spread among four players, as junior Logan Gee, sophomore Mark Oda, and freshmen Whit Gilfillan and Austin Brizgys tallied one score apiece.

Sophomore netminder Peter Moore had 11 saves in goal.

The Broncos will then host an alumni game at the Leavey Pool tomorrow at 11 a.m.
