STANFORD, Calif. - Santa Clara University men's water polo fell to 17th-ranked Air Force 10-8 and UC Davis 6-5 at the Northern California Invitational, hosted by Stanford University at the Avery Aquatic Center. With the losses, Santa Clara falls to 6-10 on the season.

Senior Jay Moorhead led the Broncos with four goals against the Falcons, while sophomore Kenny Flanagan added two and one each was scored by sophomore Dan Figoni and freshman Nick Takahashi.

Figoni and Takahashi each scored twice in the second game against UCD while Moorhead added the final score.

Sophomore Gareth Owens registered five blocks in goal in the first match while freshman Peter Moore matched that total in the second game.

The Broncos return to action on Sunday, October 21, hosting Pacific at noon at the Leavey Pool.
