The Broncos have already seen two of this weekend's opponents. The Broncos defeated Brown 6-5 on Sept. 10th in Princeton, New Jersey and dropped a 12-10 decision to Air Force on Oct. 2nd.  While all five games this weekend are tough opponents, the matchup with Air Force has the biggest implications on the Broncos' season.

"The biggest game of the weekend is Air Force because it is a conference game, and they beat us earlier in the year," said Bronco head coach Keith Wilbur. "We are ranked right there with Air Force in our conference and in the national rankings."

Santa Clara continues to be led by redshirt sophomore Theo Nasser who already doubled his scoring total from last season.  Nasser has tallied 31 goals while earning 33 ejections drawn. Seniors Marcus Akerland and James Case have provided the Broncos with 25 goals of their own. Fifth year senior Daley Meistrell leads the team with 31 assists and 24 steals. Michael Wishart has had an outstanding senior year registering 207 blocks with 14 assists and 13 steals.

Daley Meistrell's three assists against UC Davis on Oct. 9 broke Jack Wall's mark of 139 as the all-time leader in assists. After this past weekend, Case now sits at  130 goals in his career, good for eighth all-time in goals scored.

Young Guns

Five players have scored their first career goals this season.
